On April 16, 1975, Northwestern State University awarded its first 10 athletic scholarships to women. Join the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and NSU Athletic Department at the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame & Northwest Louisiana History Museum on April 16 to celebrate the top 40 moments of NSU’s 40 years of women’s athletics. The event will feature a panel of the original signees who will discuss their experiences.
