An Uncertain Destiny
On October 13, 2015 at 6:00 pm, the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame and Northwest Louisiana History Museum will host Dorothy Kovalchick Roark, author of “Uncertain Destiny: A True Story”.
Come hear Roark’s story in her own words as she recounts her experiences playing professional baseball in the 1940s, first with her father’s semipro team barnstorming Pennsylvania and later as a member of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Copies of her book “Uncertain Destiny” will be available for purchase.
The event is FREE and open to the public.
