CLEDA Quarterly Innovation Luncheon

Dr. Rallo will discuss his approach in leading the Board of Regents in the coordination of higher education in Louisiana. Jim Clinton, CLEDA president and CEO, stated, “The Board of Regents is the policymaking board for all of public higher education in Louisiana. With the specter of more budget cuts facing our colleges, universities, community colleges and technical colleges, it’s very important that we understand the importance of higher education to all of us in Central Louisiana. Before being named Louisiana Commissioner of Higher Education, Dr. Rallo was Special Advisor for Global Engagement at Texas Tech University. He previously served as the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs for the Texas Tech University System. In addition to his overall coordination of system academic affairs, Dr. Rallo had specific responsibility for strategic planning, distance education, military/veteran initiatives and international programs.'
