Coronavirus Recovery with Congressman Mike Johnson
Congressman Mike Johnson, who is serving on the White House Task Force on Reopening the Economy, will be joining us on Zoom to discuss Coronavirus Recovery. We will start our first Zoom luncheon off with an ice-breaker, and then we'll have a brief Chamber update from our President. Then, Congressman Johnson will update our attendees on the Coronavirus Recovery plan that he has worked on as part of the White House task force.
Zoom Luncheons—How Will this Work?
This is will be our first digital luncheon. We’re excited to be able to offer this option to our members, but we know there will be many questions about the format.
The Format - The meeting will begin promptly at 11:45 with a guided networking icebreaker. At 12:00 noon, the Chamber President will give a brief update and introduce our guest speaker. Congressman Johnson will have the floor for an update on reopening the economy, and there will be time for moderated questions via the typed chat function following his update.
What About Lunch? - Lunch will not be provided, but we strongly encourage you to support our local member restaurants (find your fave here) and dine virtually together. As added incentive, if you check in to the luncheon event on Facebook with a pic of your meal, tag the member restaurant you supported, and use #GoNatchitoches #GoLocal, you'll be entered to win some Chamber swag!
What is the Cost? - $10 for members and $15 for non-members. As a reminder, members at the Preferred level or higher have tickets included with their membership.
Will there still be door prizes? - YES! There will be opportunities to win door prizes provided by our coffee sponsor, Epic Touch, and our swag sponsor, Engage Federal Credit Union.
