Two Wheels to History Bike Ride

Join us for a FREE bike ride and learn about the life of sharecropping from park volunteer Elvin Shields. Elvin and his family lived on Oakland Plantation and during Segregation; he attended the African American school at St. Matthews. This six-mile round trip ride will begin at Oakland and visit St. Matthews School. The park provides bikes, helmets and water. Limit: 20 adults and young adults.
