Applicants must be doctorally prepared, hold an unencumbered, Louisiana license as a registered nurse and advanced practice registered nurse, and have current certification or recertification as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
Applicants must also have administrative/leadership experience and experience in teaching in a nurse anesthesia educational program.
Must have experience in building practice-education partnerships. Teaching experience at the doctoral nursing level is preferred.
Applicants must show evidence of ongoing scholarly activity, adeptness at online educational technology, and be eligible to serve as a full member of Northwestern State University's Graduate Faculty.
Willing to travel. Must be able to pass a background check and meet the required standards defined by the University.
