Northwestern State University of Louisiana Department of English, Languages, and Cultural Studies in Natchitoches, LA, is seeking applicants to fill the position of full time, non-tenure track Instructor of Modern Languages (French and/or Spanish) with a starting date of August I 0, 2026.
The position's teaching responsibilities are expected to include introductory and intermediate French and/or Spanish language courses for minors and non-minors, and more specialized classes in French and/or Spanish, including classes in conversation and composition. Therefore, we seek a candidate who will provide high-quality instruction in undergraduate courses, in both face-to-face and online settings. Teaching load will be 5/5. Candidates should also demonstrate a willingness to assist with the recruitment and retention of students and an interest in service to the Department.
